Many of Las Vegas's best restaurants are located on, or near, the Resort Corridor (commonly called The Strip), and their names are among those listed below.

Please make note of a restaurant's
Location Number and the click on this MAP LINK to view the Strip/Near Strip Map and match any restaurant having a number to its location on the map.

However, if you're reading a restaurant's write-up and it doesn't show a
Location Number, that means it's not located on the Strip/Near Strip map.  I've provided street addresses for all restaurants so you easily can determine driving directions on your car's navigation system or with Google, MapQuest or Waze apps on your phone or tablet.

BEST STEAKHOUSES IN LAS VEGAS

Las Vegas began as a meat and potatoes town, and currently boasts some of the country's best steakhouses.  But there only can be a certain number of them that make it to the top of the list, and these are the Best Steak Restaurants in Las Vegas.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse – Just off the Strip a Short Distance South of Mandalay Bay

6515 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

Las Vegas has an abundance of superb steakhouses. Some people would argue that a restaurant “chain” cannot possibly deserve to be ranked among them. They would be wrong. Fleming's, with dozens of locations in almost 30 states, has been serving up top quality beef and other premium entrees in a sleek, classy atmosphere for many years. They cater to patrons who expect excellence in food, décor and service.

Diners in Las Vegas often prefer to escape the hustle and bustle surrounding Strip restaurants, and can achieve their goal easily by traveling a few minutes past the southern end of the Strip to a destination that offers a different atmosphere. Your decision to leave the Strip confines will be well rewarded.

One Steakhouse - Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

4455 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas

Fine steakhouse dining definitely is in the genes of brothers Michael and David Morton, sons of Arnie Morton, who founded the legendary Morton's of Chicago in 1978.

When it opened in May, 2017 in the Hard Rock Hotel, MB Steak carried on the impeccable Chicago restaurant tradition begun by their father and grandfather.  With the re-branding of the Hard Rock and its reopening March 25, 2021 as the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the restaurant is now known as One Steakhouse.

Their beef is renowned for its succulence and perfect preparation, as are all the accompaniments, and the decor presents a beautifully sophisticated look.  The menu has expanded and diversified, but the same great experience awaits you.  Don't miss this steakhouse.

Gorden Ramsey Steak - Paris

3655 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

The amount of publicity surrounding the May, 2012 opening of celebrity-chef Gordon Ramsey's sleekly modern steakhouse certainly matched or exceeded the hype for any of Las Vegas' new restaurants in recent years.  But unlike many restaurants associated with well-known television personalities, this one actually lives up to all of the hyperbole.

Simply put, the restaurant's design is visually stunning, and that's just the beginning of your experience.  Sometimes a superb restaurant can be described as simply as possible.  The beef is exceptional and so is the service.  Treat yourself to an outstanding meal.

Golden Steer Steakhouse

308 W. Sahara

Opened in 1958, this destination is as famous as any of the few remaining businesses from the city's glittering past.  It's described by them as the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas, and your visit to this beautifully-maintained restaurant will be like stepping back into another era.  You'll experience the tuxedo'd waiters and the interior ambiance of leather banquettes, wood paneling, flocked wallpaper and old west art that seem frozen in time.  The menu is filled with classic 1950s appetizers, entrees and desserts that you have to experience.
