Miscellaneous Treasures
Many of Las Vegas's best restaurants are located on, or near the Resort Corridor (commonly called The Strip), and their names are among those listed below.
Please make note of a restaurant's Location Number and then click on this MAP LINK to view the Strip/Near Strip Map and match any restaurant having a number to its location on the map.
However, if you're reading a restaurant's write-up and it doesn't show a Location Number, that means it's not located on the Strip/Near Strip map. I've provided street addresses for all restaurants so you easily can determine driving directions on your car's navigation system or with Google, MapQuest or Waze apps on your phone or tablet.
BEST MISCELLANEOUS TREASURES IN LAS VEGAS
Las Vegas has many outstanding restaurants offering cuisine from around the world, but there may not be enough from each and every country to make up their own category. Therefore, I have carefully selected the really special ones, and they make up the category, Best Miscellaneous Treasures in Las Vegas.
The Capital Grille - On the third level outside the Fashion Show Mall

Access is by stairs or escalator from the front, outside (northeast) corner of the mall. A beautifully stylish restaurant with a marvelous continental menu, though it's thought of by many as a steakhouse. The food and service are both superb.

Mint Indian Bistro

Among the many Indian restaurants in Las Vegas, the Mint Indian Bistro epitomizes the delicious and extremely varied selections that Indian cuisine has to offer. Though North Indian dishes are plentiful, there also is a very nice selection of South Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan specialties. You'll even find Italian influences. For those who relish spicier selections, a special “Inferno Menu” will delight you with numerous currys, naans, kabobs, dosas and biryanis made with some of the hottest chilies and spices in the world. It's also worth noting that the lunch buffet, which is very extensive and well-prepared, attracts a large and enthusiastic crowd. If you love quality Indian cuisine, you won't be disappointed here.

If you think that delicious Mexican food consists of ninety-nine cent tacos at a fast food restaurant, you may not be interested in Javier's menu. Yes, they prepare elevated versions of many dishes that reflect the traditional and rustic origins of what might be called Mexican "soul food", but the comprehensive menu also contains a wide variety of innovative and imaginative dishes that represent the most sophisticated of Mexico's culinary offerings.

Anima by Edo

With chef/partner Oscar Amador Edo at the helm, you'll experience a delightful selection of delicious and Italian and Spanish tapas in this attractive restaurant that displays colorful murals and luxurious accompanying color tones. Seafood and charcuterie display counters will add to your anticipation of the menu selections you make. This is worth the drive to the Summerlin area.

Gordon Ramsey's restaurant empire is comprised of over 30 restaurants around the world. He is the second most Michelin-Starred chef in history, with 17 to his credit. His numerous television shows have more than cemented his status as an outstanding "celebrity" chef, and he has certainly added to his reputation by creating a compact, but delicious, menu here. You'll be more than pleased with his offerings.
